This followed an August 17 article in PRINT Magazine, which marked Gotham's 25th anniversary, detailing the typeface's journey from its original commission by GQ and its origins in anonymous New York City lettering to becoming a widely used visual language across campaigns, civic institutions, technology, fashion, entertainment, and architecture. Earlier, on August 6, Monotype and Kittl expanded their partnership, enabling Monotype's enterprise customers to access their organization's centrally managed font libraries directly within Kittl's AI-powered design platform. This builds on a previous arrangement that provided Kittl users with access to a curated selection of Monotype typefaces.
