Monsta Studios

Monsta Studios, also known commercially as Monsta and legally registered as Animonsta Studios Sdn. Bhd., is a privately owned company headquartered in Cyberjaya, Selangor, Malaysia. Founded in September 2009 by former Les' Copaque Production executives Mohd Nizam Abd Razak, Muhammad Anas Abdul Aziz, Mohd Safwan Abd Karim, and Kee Yong Pin, the company specializes in content rights and was awarded MSC Malaysia status in 2011 to advance the country’s high-fidelity digital media industry. Operating as a multimedia animation and entertainment studio, Monsta Studios focuses on universally appealing, family-oriented narratives paired with distinctive regional cultural references. The studio develops a three-dimensional (3D) computer-generated imagery (CGI) intellectual property portfolio, which includes the animated superhero franchise BoBoiBoy and its continuation series BoBoiBoy Galaxy, the globally distributed action-comedy series Mechamato, and spin-offs and standalone releases such as Fly With Yaya, Papa Pipi, and Mechamato Movie. Its content has achieved commercial success across Southeast Asia and global broadcasting markets.
