Autodesk announced a new AI-powered animation tool for Maya called MotionMaker, designed to expedite character animation while maintaining creative control. Autodesk also showcased its Flow Studio AI technology at a conference in Annecy, France, from June 8-13, highlighting its potential to streamline animation production. A showreel featuring films, shows, and games from the past year was released by Autodesk. Additionally, Autodesk Research is conducting AI research focused on improving efficiency and creativity within the media and entertainment industry. Finally, Unit Image used custom shaders in Autodesk Arnold to achieve a stylized visual effect for an unnamed project.
