The company functions as an independent film production entity based in Montevideo, Uruguay, specializing in arthouse cinema, talent discovery, and international co-productions across Latin America and Europe. Established by producers Agustina Chiarino and Fernando Epstein following their foundational work at Control Z Films, the enterprise focuses on nurturing emerging directors and producing narrative feature films, creative documentaries, and educational training modules. Beyond traditional film production, the company contributes to the professionalization of the regional audiovisual industry through "Mutante Formación," its educational branch that co-organizes the PUENTES workshop in partnership with the European Audiovisual Entrepreneurs (EAVE) network to train European and Latin American film producers.
