National Film Institute Hungary, a state-owned organization headquartered in Hungary, was established in its current form in 2020 as the successor to the Hungarian National Film Fund. With approximately 90 employees, the institute functions as the primary public body responsible for the support and development of the Hungarian moving image industry, operating under the supervision of the Hungarian government.
