As a tier 1 media tech buyer, the company functions as a telecom service provider with over 26 years of experience, offering international connectivity, data center, managed network services, and security services. Neterra owns and operates its global network, which includes points of presence in over 55 countries.
On July 14, 2026, Neterra provided connectivity for one of the world's largest cycling races, which was broadcast live globally and passed through Bulgarian stages including Burgas, Veliko Tarnovo, and Sofia, concluding in front of the National Assembly. Previously, on June 23, Philippine operator Eastern Telecommunications Philippines (ETPI) joined the Global Internet Exchange (GIX), operated by NetIX, a Neterra Group company. This integration extended ETPI's network across Southeast Asia and into Europe, with ETPI connecting to the platform from the Equinix SG1 data center in Singapore. Earlier, on May 19, Neterra Founder and CEO Neven Dilkov was named to Capacity Media's 2026 Power 100, an annual list recognizing 100 influential figures in the global telecommunications and digital infrastructure sectors. This followed Neterra's addition of a fourth independent fiber route between Sofia and Frankfurt on April 25, an upgrade intended to boost capacity and enhance network resilience by preparing to transition its backbone links from 100 Gbps to 400 Gbps.
