Nomad Digital recently surpassed 2.5 million working hours without a Lost Time Injury (LTI) by July 2025, which represents over five years of safe operations. Managing Director Jean-Philippe Garbit commented on this milestone, reflecting the organization's commitment to safety. This follows Garbit's appointment as managing director, effective January 2026, announced on February 10, 2026. His appointment aims to strengthen leadership as the company advances rail digitalization, passenger connectivity, and integrated onboard systems across global markets. Earlier, on January 23, 2026, Nomad Digital participated as a Gold partner with Alstom at "The Rise of IoT AI & Data in Rail" event, addressing digital challenges and the value of data in the industry. Previously, on November 18, 2025, the company secured a contract to upgrade Italo's existing fleet of 51 AGV and EVO Pendolino high-speed trains in Italy. The agreement includes implementing Nomad Digital's Internet On-Board (IOB) 5G solution, which enables passengers to access productivity and entertainment content via the On Board Portal (Engage).
