On April 29, 2026, LEO Pharma, a global leader in medical dermatology, entered a definitive agreement to acquire Replay, a gene therapy company focused on developing treatments for rare genetic dermatological conditions. Previously, on April 21, BMLL announced a series of senior hires across commercial and technical functions to scale its operations, following its acquisition by Nordic Capital in October 2025. Nordic Capital, a main private equity backer of UK investment platform Hargreaves Lansdown, was assessing potential wealth deals on April 15, evaluating how well firms are protected from growing AI competition. On the same day, Nordic Capital was reportedly considering another multi-asset continuation vehicle, which is anticipated to be in the region of €2bn to €2.5bn. This follows reports on April 9 that Nordic Capital was exploring a sale of Danish bakery-café chain Lagkagehuset, which operates over 100 stores in Denmark and 30 in the UK and US, where it trades as Ole & Steen.
