Nordnet released its January 2026 monthly statistics, revealing its customers executed 6.26 million trades, or 309,400 trades per day, in listed financial instruments. The platform added 32,100 new customers during the month, growing its total customer base to 2.38 million and achieving an annual customer growth rate of 12.0 percent. Net savings reached SEK 11.1 billion in January, a 131.3 percent increase from the previous month's SEK 4.8 billion and an 11.0 percent rise compared to January 2025. Total savings capital stood at SEK 1,201 billion, with lending amounting to SEK 29.4 billion at the end of January. Previously, on February 3, Nordnet noted that its Danish customers predominantly bought shares in Novo Nordisk and Pandora in January, while divesting from Mærsk shares, ahead of upcoming earnings reports. This followed a February 2 report from Nasdaq Nordic, which indicated a significant increase in trading for online brokerages, including Nordnet, in January compared to the preceding month.
