Northern Kentucky University (NKU) is a state-owned public university founded in 1968 and located in Highland Heights, Kentucky. As the newest of Kentucky's eight public universities, NKU employed approximately 2,890 individuals in an unspecified year. In 2022, NKU's student body comprised roughly 15,800 students, with over 10,000 undergraduates and nearly 5,000 postgraduates. The university is organized into seven colleges encompassing arts and sciences, business, education, informatics, health, and the Salmon P. Chase College of Law.
