NRTC Communications, also known as North Renfrew Telephone Company, is a privately owned company headquartered in Canada, founded in 1911. The company functions as a communications service provider, specializing in telephone services for the Upper Ottawa Valley.
NRTC appointed Curtis Knobloch, President of its Mobile Solutions business unit, as Chief Executive Officer, effective June 1. Knobloch, a member of NRTC’s executive team for over two decades, assumed the leadership role following a comprehensive nationwide executive search by the organization’s board of directors, as announced on May 8, 2026. This follows Union Coop's signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NRTC Dubai International Vegetables & Fruits Trading LLC on May 5, 2026. The MoU, signed in Abu Dhabi on the sidelines of the ‘Make it in the Emirates’ initiative, aims to support locally produced goods and enhance supply chain efficiency in the UAE.
