NUGEN Audio unveiled DialogCheck v1.2, an updated intelligent dialog intelligibility and compliance tool, at IBC 2026 on September 24, 2026. The latest evolution, which sharpens focus on dialog clarity, reflects ongoing industry collaboration as manufacturers work toward unified standards for measuring and verifying spoken-word clarity in broadcast and streaming content. Previously, on September 16, NUGEN Audio joined forces with Steinberg, RTW, Telos Alliance, and Fraunhofer IDMT. This collaboration formed the LEAP Meter Manufacturers Group (LMMG) to establish a common approach for measuring and presenting dialogue intelligibility using LEAP AI technology.
