Insight TV acquired assets from Off The Fence (OTF) in bankruptcy proceedings, but closed OTF's production arm. OTF, the producer of *My Octopus Teacher*, entered bankruptcy proceedings in June after failing to secure firm financial footing with its shareholder, ZDF Studios. The acquisition by Insight TV, a global channel group and FAST streaming specialist, saved OTF from bankruptcy. The acquisition included OTF's distribution business, but resulted in the closure of its in-house production arm, leading to anticipated layoffs.
