One Hungary is a privately owned Hungarian telecommunications company founded in 1999. Employing approximately 2,900 people, it operates from headquarters in Hungary. The company resulted from the consolidation of several entities, including Vodafone Hungary (formerly UPC Hungary), DIGI, Antenna Hungária, and Invitech, under the ownership of its parent company, 4iG. The merger, completed in 2023, combined these previously separate telecommunications providers into a single brand serving the Hungarian market.
On January 1, 2025, Vodafone Hungary merged with Digi, forming One Magyarország Zrt. The business and enterprise services of Vodafone Antenna Hungária and Invitech will operate under the One Solutions sub-brand. Prior to the merger, Vodafone Hungary used TechSee's visual assistance technology for customer support. The Socialist Party filed a complaint regarding the sale of Vodafone to a state-owned fund, alleging losses of approximately 13 billion forints (EUR 31.3 million) due to what the opposition claims were opaque transactions detrimental to national interests. The merger of Vodafone Hungary and Digi concluded on January 1, 2025, resulting in the cessation of both companies as independent entities.
