One NZ Warriors, also known as Vodafone Warriors, is a privately owned entity headquartered in New Zealand, founded in 1995 and operating with approximately 90 employees, primarily focusing on spectator sports. The club reported $4.6M in revenue as of 2023. It functions as a professional rugby league football club based in Auckland, New Zealand, and competes in the National Rugby League premiership as the league's sole team from outside Australia. The team is based at Mt Smart Stadium, Penrose. Established in 1995 as the Auckland Warriors, the club became the first offshore club admitted to the Australian Rugby League's premiership and was re-branded as the New Zealand Warriors in 2001.
On June 23, 2026, GWM, in collaboration with Thinkerbell Pead and Luminary Group, transformed Fieldays into a working dealership-stadium and live entertainment venue, bringing its "Wahs Selling Cars" campaign to life through its partnership with the One New Zealand Warriors. Earlier, on June 20, former Australian NRL greats Gorden Tallis and Kevin Walters publicly backed the push for a second NRL team in New Zealand, suggesting Christchurch’s One NZ Stadium as an ideal home ground. Their comments came while they were in Christchurch for the Warriors' inaugural match against the North Queensland Cowboys at the new stadium. Previously, on June 16, Warriors CEO Cam George addressed Christchurch businesspeople about rebuilding the club's culture, citing past organizational issues. This followed the New Zealand Warriors confirming on June 11 their agreement to release forward Morgan Gannon from his three-year contract, potentially facilitating his return to Super League after just one season with the NRL club. In May, specifically on the 28th, the One New Zealand Warriors forged a partnership with rugby league nursery St Thomas of Canterbury College, aiming to significantly boost the club’s pathways system, having initially linked with the Christchurch school post-Covid.
