Vodafone Spain gifts 30GB data bundle to prepay subs
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) has announced that all prepay customers can access a 30GB bonus bundle at no extra cost until 31 March. As a result, subscribers to the entry-level Prepago S rate will receive 90 GB of data (up from 60 GB), unlimited calls to Spain and Romania, 500 minutes of calls to dozens of international destinations plus EU and UK roaming for EUR 10 a month.

Vodafone Spain sales up 1.1% to EUR 923 mln in December quarter
Vodafone Spain consolidated its recent return to growth in the third fiscal quarter to the end of December, according to figures published around two years after UK-based telecom investment company Zegona finalised its acquisition of the country's third largest operator. The company posted total revenues of EUR 923 million for the three-month period, up 1.1 percent compared to EUR 913 million a year earlier, although EBITDAaL fell 10.1 percent to EUR 313 million.

Vodafone Spain targets Digi with EUR 25/mth fibre plus unlimited data offer
Vodafone Spain (Zegona) has launched a new exclusive offer targeting rival Digi in the form of a low-cost premium convergent plan starting at EUR 25 a month, reports ADSL Zone. The plan comes with fibre broadband at download speeds of up to 1 Gbps plus two mobile lines with unlimited data at 5G speeds as well as 47GB a month of roaming in the EU and several other countries.

Vodafone Spain (Zegona) said its B2B unit Vodafone Empresas has opened a new Cybersecurity Centre in Madrid dedicated to small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). The new facility expands Vodafone's existing network of security centres in Madrid, Barcelona and Murcia, and aims to make advanced cybersecurity services more accessible to smaller businesses, which account for seven in ten cyberattacks in Spain yet typically lack the resources to deploy specialised protection, noted the operator.

Link Securities | Telefónica (TEF) and Vodafone Spain, a company wholly owned by British financial group Zegona (ZEG-GB), have obtained the green light from the European Commission (EC) for the French financial group AXA (CS-FR) to acquire a stake in Fiberpass, the wholesale fibre optic company (fiberco) created from the networks and broadband customers of the two operators, according to Expansión newspaper.
