Oracle Cerner, formerly Cerner Corporation, is a privately owned, US-based multinational company providing health information technology (HIT) platforms and services. Founded in 1979, it was acquired by Oracle Corporation in June 2022 for approximately US$28.3 billion. Prior to the acquisition, Cerner had a global workforce exceeding 29,000 and served over 27,000 customers worldwide. As of its acquisition, Oracle Cerner employs approximately 22,660 people.
