The European Commission plans to release over €500 million in frozen funds for Hungary. This action follows the unveiling of the 19th package of EU sanctions against Russia, which requires unanimous approval from all 27 member states. Separately, Orban appointed a sales executive to lead operations in the Middle East, Africa, France, Italy, Spain, and Portugal. This individual previously represented brands including Klotz, Harman, and Lectrosonics. Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban stated that if the European Union does not undergo significant changes, the next seven-year budget will be its last.
