Oscilloquartz, a privately owned company headquartered in Switzerland, was founded in 1949, employs approximately 80 individuals, and reported $25.5M in revenue as of 2023. The company specializes in providing solutions for time and frequency synchronisation, designing, manufacturing, and deploying end-to-end synchronisation systems over next-generation packet and legacy networks.
On December 29, 2025, Oscilloquartz highlighted its OSA 5410XG and OSA 5401XG SyncPlug™ solutions, which provide a modern approach to distributed synchronization by treating time generation, delivery validation, and monitoring as critical infrastructure elements; the OSA 5410XG functions as a carrier-class Grandmaster for access and aggregation layers. Earlier in December, on the 14th, AEROTHAI implemented Adtran’s compact multi-source Oscilloquartz timing platform, supplied by NEC, to modernize air traffic control and boost GNSS resilience, improving safety and efficiency. This followed news from December 11, when Indonesia-based Bank Mandiri began leveraging Adtran’s Oscilloquartz timing technology, implemented by NEC, to ensure precise transaction timestamping and compliance with stringent banking regulations, providing timing redundancy and cyber protection for its digital financial services. Previously, on November 26, 2025, Oscilloquartz awarded an unnamed partner the "Parceiro do Ano LATAM" (Partner of the Year LATAM) award, recognizing over eight years of continuous collaboration in synchronization and precision solutions.
