PAG, founded in 1968 and headquartered in the UK, is a privately owned company specializing in the design and manufacturing of batteries and chargers for cameras and accessories used in broadcast acquisition, video production, and digital cinematography. With a team of approximately 20 employees, PAG has generated revenues of less than $10 million as of 2023.
PAG developed a new system of high-power linking batteries, PAGlink, in February 2014, designed to power various digital video cameras used in broadcast news acquisition, video production, and digital cinematography. In December 2016, UK-based freelance cameraman Kevin Babey used PAGlink for his end-to-end video production services, including video production in 4.6K, 4K, and 1080p video editing, and event photography. Tim Bonython, who has been associated with surfing films since 1978, used PAGlink in March 2017 to capture big waves and surfers in Hawaii.
