PAG, a privately owned UK-based company founded in 1968, designs and manufactures batteries and chargers for cameras and related accessories used in broadcast acquisition, video production, and digital cinematography. Employing approximately 20 people, the company's content acquisition-focused products generated less than $10 million in revenue in 2023.
PAG developed a new system of high-power linking batteries, PAGlink, in February 2014, designed to power various digital video cameras used in broadcast news acquisition, video production, and digital cinematography. In December 2016, UK-based freelance cameraman Kevin Babey used PAGlink for his end-to-end video production services, including video production in 4.6K, 4K, and 1080p video editing, and event photography. Tim Bonython, who has been associated with surfing films since 1978, used PAGlink in March 2017 to capture big waves and surfers in Hawaii.
