On May 22, 2026, journalism students from the Penn State Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications contributed to WPSU’s "Slice of Pennsylvania" by creating "audio postcards," a project emphasizing the use of sound in storytelling. Previously, on April 27, WPSU's Poetry Writing Contest recognized more than 200 student poets from 40 school districts across 16 Pennsylvania counties.
