Periodistas Asociados de Television, also known as Red PAT and PAT, is a Privately Owned company headquartered in Bolivia and functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Founded in 1990 as an independent news production agency by a collective of Bolivian journalists and media figures, including Carlos Mesa, Mario Espinoza, Amalia Pando, and Ximena Valdivia, the company employs approximately 200 individuals. It specializes in broadcast television and radio, operating as a private commercial television network and news media provider. Initially, the company functioned as a syndicated third-party content supplier for local broadcasters such as Canal 11, América Televisión, and Bolivisión, before evolving into a fully autonomous national free-to-air broadcast network in September 1998. Control of the company was acquired by Santa Cruz businessman Abdallah Daher in 2007.
