Platypod participated in a KelbyOne ON1 Travel Photography Conference in July 2025, where Dr. Larry Tiefenbrunn and Larry Becker discussed how compact tripod systems improve travel photography. A video on Platypod TV shows how to light glass bottles for product photography. Other projects included before-and-after photos demonstrating lighting techniques based on the book *Light Science and Magic*, by Fil Hunter and Paul Fuqua. There is mention of a personal collection of over a million negatives, transparencies, and prints. A separate project involved photography at Lake Tahoe.
