Privately Owned Plustelka, headquartered in Slovakia, is a subsidiary of Towercom. Founded in 2013, the company functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Plustelka operates as a pay-DTT service.
Plustelka updated its Premium package on April 29, 2025, replacing the Eroxxx adult station with the new VIXEN program in response to customer requests. This followed the January 28, 2025, migration of the JOJ HD station, a component of the Plustelka Standard package, to the HEVC codec. This move fulfilled a commitment made at the end of 2024 to enhance the image quality of Plustelka programs and introduce additional content. The company also improved its services by transitioning MTV 00's and National Geographic to the HEVC codec by 2025. Furthermore, Plustelka allowed viewers to watch all matches of the 2025 Ice Hockey World Championships free of charge and in high resolution via antenna, removing the need for an internet connection.
