Privately Owned Plustelka, headquartered in Slovakia, is a subsidiary of Towercom. Founded in 2013, the company functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer. Plustelka operates as a pay-DTT service.
Plustelka will transition its second multiplex to the DVB-T2 broadcasting standard on April 14, 2026, as part of a wider modernization of its DTT infrastructure. This change, which will be carried out progressively across all transmitters, may require viewers to retune their television sets or set-top boxes. Previously, on April 29, 2025, the company replaced the Eroxxx adult station in its Plustelka Premium package with the new VIXEN program, responding to customer requests. In 2025, Plustelka also offered free, high-resolution terrestrial broadcasting of all matches from the Ice Hockey World Championships. This followed its switch of the popular JOJ HD station within the Plustelka Standard package to the HEVC codec on January 28, 2025, an upgrade aimed at improving image quality.
