PNY Technologies, a privately owned company headquartered in the US, was founded in 1985 and employs approximately 430 individuals. The company specializes in computers and electronics manufacturing, functioning as a designer, manufacturer, and supplier of memory upgrade modules, flash memory cards, USB flash drives, solid state drives, PowerPack portable battery chargers for smartphones and tablets, NVIDIA GeForce consumer graphics cards, and NVIDIA Quadro professional workstation graphics cards. A number of its products are assembled in the USA.
PNY Technologies announced a strategic partnership with Nuvonix at Electronica India on April 29, 2026, to expand its footprint and strengthen its distribution and technology ecosystem in the region, showcasing its complete product portfolio. Previously, on April 17, Mike Adams accused PNY and Nvidia of refusing to honor a 3-year warranty for a defective $9000 RTX Pro 6000 GPU, citing Nvidia's demands for redundant documentation and case transfers, and Assurant Technologies' push of a malware-linked diagnostic tool. Earlier, on April 15, Slimbook confirmed a partnership with PNY to integrate PNY’s storage, memory, and graphics solutions into Slimbook’s Linux PC and workstation lineup. This followed PNY's launch on April 12 of three new GeForce RTX 50 Series Slim Models—the RTX 5080, RTX 5070 Ti, and RTX 5070—engineered to deliver NVIDIA’s Blackwell architecture in an ultra-compact dual-slot design for compact PC builds.
