The Portland Trail Blazers, also known as the Blazers, are a privately owned American professional basketball team founded in 1970. Based in Portland, Oregon, they are a member of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference in the National Basketball Association (NBA). The team initially played its home games at the Memorial Coliseum before relocating to the Moda Center in 1995.
