Portland Trail Blazers, also known as the Blazers, is a privately owned professional basketball team based in Portland, Oregon, US. Founded in 1970, the team competes in the National Basketball Association (NBA) as a member of the Northwest Division of the Western Conference. The Trail Blazers played their home games in the Memorial Coliseum before relocating to the Moda Center in 1995.
