On April 3, Razer launched its esports-focused Viper V4 Pro gaming mouse and Gigantus V2 Pro soft gaming mouse mat. The Viper V4 Pro enhances the V3 Pro, which esports professionals rate as the top mouse, by adopting 8KHz polling, a technology Razer previously introduced on the DeathAdder V4. Also on April 3, Razer released its Pro Type Ergo, the company's first split ergonomic keyboard, which includes a dedicated AI button, marking Razer's entry into the ergonomic keyboard market. Earlier that day, Razer Japan apologized for a short supply of the Viper V4 Pro gaming mouse, initially released on March 25, 2026. The company attributed out-of-stock situations at stores and online retailers to higher-than-expected popularity and stated it is working to strengthen production and supply systems. Previously, on April 2, OpenRazer 3.12.1 was released, enabling two more Razer products under Linux and providing several fixes, following the mid-March launch of OpenRazer 3.12.
