RC Deportivo is a privately owned company headquartered in Spain. Formally known as Real Club Deportivo de A Coruña, and Deportivo da Coruña in Galician, the entity was founded in 1906 as Club Deportivo de la Sala Calvet. With approximately 180 employees, the company reported $69.5M in revenue as of 2024. Functioning as a professional football club, RC Deportivo specializes in spectator sports, competing in La Liga, the top tier of the Spanish football league system. The club has won the La Liga title once in the 1999–2000 season, finished as runners-up on five occasions, and secured the Spanish Cup twice (1994–95 and 2001–02), three Spanish Super Cups (1995, 2000, and 2002), and the Concurso España (1912). RC Deportivo was a regular fixture in the top positions of La Liga from 1992 to 2010, finishing in the top half of the table in 16 out of 19 seasons, and is ranked 12th in the all-time La Liga table. The club participated in European competitions, including the UEFA Champions League for five consecutive seasons between 2000–01 and 2004–05, reaching the quarter-finals twice and the semi-finals in the 2003–04 season. RC Deportivo plays its home games at the 32,490-capacity Riazor, built in 1944. Its traditional home kit consists of blue and white striped shirts with blue shorts and socks. The club maintains a long-standing rivalry with Celta Vigo, with matches between them known as the Galician derby.
