On the same day, the company also introduced its Red Hat build of Podman Desktop, which aims to provide enterprise-ready local container development environments to streamline distributed development workflows. This followed Red Hat's collaboration with PTSB, an Irish retail bank, announced on February 19. Utilizing Red Hat OpenShift, the initiative sought to implement a cloud-native modernization program for PTSB, aiming to enhance change agility, accelerate time to market for customer value, and improve operating costs and efficiencies.
