The company functions as a Jamaican mobile and fixed broadband internet provider, having secured rights to the 700MHz band in 2021 to become the third major telecommunications provider in Jamaica. Its operations focus on building a network and team to extend internet access to unserved and underserved communities across Jamaica, aiming for nationwide internet coverage through wireless and fixed broadband options for the home, classroom, and boardroom. Rock Connect partners with Nokia to develop its network infrastructure, addressing data gaps and service quality issues. The company anticipates opening for business with customers in late-2023.
