Founded in 1887 by Pierre-Émile Rossel and employing approximately 430 individuals, the company functions as a tier 1 media tech buyer focusing on writing and editing services. Rossel operates a diverse portfolio encompassing daily newspapers, regional publications, television channels, radio stations, digital platforms, and advertising services. Its flagship publication is Le Soir, a French-language daily in Belgium. The group also owns Sudpresse, which publishes regional dailies such as La Meuse, La Capitale, and La Nouvelle Gazette.
