Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound
Royal Institute for Theatre, Cinema and Sound, also known as RITCS, is a State Owned institution headquartered in Belgium. Founded in 1962, it operates with approximately 60 employees and reported $8.0M in revenue as of 2023. Functioning as a tier 2 media tech buyer, RITCS operates as a Brussels media and theatre school and is part of the Erasmus University College Brussels, a higher education institution in association with the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. A distinctive feature of RITCS is the strong integration of specializations, including animated film, image, documentary, drama (directing or acting), film, sound, editing, stagecraft, production management, radio, writing, and television.
