On July 23, 2026, RT Commercial announced Centra's return as the official food partner for The Traitors Ireland, with Centra planning to leverage the partnership through in-store activations and a multi-platform media campaign. Previously, on July 21, RT unveiled its most ambitious drama slate, committing a record-breaking 160 hours of Irish drama for 2026, which includes the return of KIN and The Walsh Sisters. This followed the 2026 FIFA World Cup Final on July 20, which set a new RT Player record as the most-streamed single event in the platform's history, attracting over 1 million live viewers on RT2. Earlier, on July 16, RT's coverage of the FIFA World Cup semi-finals generated significant audiences, with RT Player surpassing 21 million streams across the tournament and the semi-finals reaching a combined 1.98 million unique individuals. On July 10, RT became the first international partner of the Alliance of Sahel States' (AES) unified television channel, Sahel TV (Tafouk TV), through a cooperation agreement encompassing content sharing and joint coverage of Russia and the three AES member states.
