Sachtler announced four new fluid heads: the aktiv16T and aktiv18T, and the FSB 16T Mk II and FSB 18T Mk II. These heads support maximum payloads of 16 kg and 18 kg and are designed for ENG and documentary professionals using larger shoulder-mounted rigs. Sachtler showcased the new aktiv 16T/18T 100mm fluid heads at IBC 2025 in Amsterdam, noting that these heads offer a more affordable price point. The new tripods are expected to be available in October. The company also described the new additions as offering faster setup and reliable balance.
