SeaWorld San Antonio is a privately owned company headquartered in the US. Founded in 1988, it employs approximately 200 individuals. Its main product is hospitality. The company operates as a marine-themed entertainment park located in San Antonio, Texas.
SeaWorld San Antonio welcomed seven additional beluga whales on August 6, 2026, marking the second major transfer in an international effort to relocate an entire pod from a shuttered Canadian marine park. This follows the arrival of the first two beluga whales on July 22, 2026, which settled into a 2-million-gallon saltwater pool in Texas as part of the same international relocation mission. Previously, on July 14, 2025, SeaWorld San Antonio underwent another leadership shuffle. Earlier, on June 20, 2025, the park experienced the sudden death of Kamea, an 11-year-old orca and the youngest member of its pod.
