On May 26, 2026, SiPearl’s Rhea1 processor, developed as part of the Euro-processor initiative, commenced a 12-week bring-up period for functionality testing. SiPearl plans general availability for the CPU by the end of 2026, with Rhea1 slated to equip the CPU cluster module of JUPITER, Europe’s inaugural exascale supercomputer. The EuroHPC owns JUPITER, which the Jülich Supercomputing Centre in Germany hosts and operates.
