Skyware Global, a privately owned US-based telecommunications company founded in 1984, employs approximately 110 people as of 2023. A subsidiary of Global Invacom Group, Skyware Global manufactures and supplies a diverse portfolio of antennas and outdoor electronics for various applications including direct-to-home (DTH) television, consumer broadband, very-small-aperture terminal (VSAT) systems, and enterprise networks.
Global Skyware, part of the Global Invacom Group, launched a multi-orbit XRJ transceiver for the government and defence market on September 3, 2025. The XRJ transceiver operates in the extended Ka-band frequency range, covering 17.7 to 20.2 GHz in receive (Rx) mode and 27.5 to 30 GHz in transmit (Tx) mode. In Rx mode, it converts an RF input frequency of 17.7-20.2 GHz into an IF output frequency of 950-2150 MHz; in Tx mode, it converts an IF input frequency of 1400-2400 MHz into an RF frequency of 27.5-30 GHz. The company also notes that flat panel antennas are key to unlocking the potential of LEO networks due to their ability to track moving satellites and switch beams.
