On August 21, Smilegate announced the early conclusion of the character pre-creation event for its upcoming MMORPG, 'Eclipse: The Awakening', developed by Npixel, ahead of its official launch on September 10. The company also released Part 1 of a documentary detailing the development philosophy and technical achievements of 'Crossfire', a new AAA single-player action-adventure title from developer That's No Moon, highlighting its "Adaptive Cover" system. Earlier this week, Smilegate and developer Super Creative launched "The Black Panther Left Uncared For" story update for their free-to-play dark fantasy dungeon crawler 'Chaos Zero Nightmare', where players accept an invitation from the mercenary group Black Spica. On August 20, Smilegate announced that 'Epic Seven', the mobile turn-based strategic RPG also developed by Super Creative, would release an update showcase video on August 22 to celebrate its 8th official launch anniversary. Previously, on August 19, Smilegate joined Krafton and other game companies in targeting emerging markets by optimizing lightweight game titles for low-spec devices.
