Smilegate and developer Super Creative launched the major "ARISE" update for their dark fantasy roguelike RPG *Chaos Zero Nightmare* on April 30, an update also noted as the game's Half-Anniversary event on April 29. The "ARISE" update introduces Sortie Mode, which expands roguelike deck-building through evolving routes, shifts in party composition, and "Fate"-driven decision-making. It also brings a new season of "Galactic Disaster," a new seasonal combatant named "Heidemarie," and content designed to strengthen core mechanics, reduce repetitive play fatigue, and improve reward satisfaction. Earlier on April 29, Smilegate announced its first-time participation in Anime Expo in Los Angeles this July, where it will showcase *Chaos Zero Nightmare* and *Miresi: The Invisible Future*. This follows a developer live broadcast titled "Galactic Network News" on April 28, during which Smilegate unveiled the future update roadmap for *Chaos Zero Nightmare*, detailing the major content of "Galactic Disaster Season 3: A Song Rippling Through the Stars."
