Societatea Română de Radiodifuziune (SRR), also known as Radio Romania, is a Romanian public broadcasting service founded in 1908. Currently employing approximately 280 people, it is headquartered in Romania and operates under the authority of the Parliament, as defined by Law no. 41 of July 17, 1994. SRR's mandate is to provide information, education, and entertainment programming, maintaining editorial independence while adhering to relevant international conventions.
