SoftLab-NSK is a privately owned Russian company founded in 1988 by former Russian Academy of Sciences researchers with space program experience. Employing approximately 30 people as of 2023, the company primarily develops hardware and software for television broadcasting, production, and virtual reality applications, marketed under the "Forward" brand. These systems are used by over 1,500 companies across 65 countries. In addition to its core business, SoftLab-NSK also produces training simulators and computer games.
