At IBC2025, held from September 12-15 in Amsterdam, Softron Media Services collaborated with Macnica Americas to showcase Apple ProRes compressed video over ST 2110-22, using macOS Sequoia (15+) and the Macnica 100Gbps MEP100 SmartNIC. A separate demonstration at the IBC2025 conference, on September 5th, 2025, also featured the 100Gbps Macnica MEP100 SmartNIC, highlighting its use with Apple ProRes over the ST 2110 framework, in conjunction with Softron Media Services and other companies, to address broadcast engineering challenges and enhance AI capabilities.
