On August 10, 2026, rFpro integrated Solectrix’s SXIVE (Simplified eXtensive Image and Video Engine) image-processing technology into its AV elevate platform. This collaboration enables engineers to design, model, and optimize the entire camera pipeline within a simulated environment, facilitating the rapid development of camera systems. The integration aims to help Tier 1 suppliers meet original equipment manufacturer (OEM) demand for accurate digital twins of camera systems before hardware is available, supporting earlier, faster, and more cost-effective development of advanced driver-assistance systems (ADAS) and automated driving systems. Previously, on August 6, Solectrix debuted its SXVPU in the US at the iVT Expo Chicago, showcased at the EVONOMY Group booth. The SXVPU is an AI-powered imaging ECU designed for industrial vehicles, featuring a specialized AMD-based hardware architecture that supports multiple cameras and sensors for processing image data with neural networks or conventional algorithms before Ethernet transmission. Earlier, in July, Solectrix demonstrated the latest products and features of its proFRAME video grabber/playback system at the Automotive Testing Expo in Stuttgart, highlighting new capabilities for fault injection (PoC I2C CSI-2) and its new proFRAME Base Board 3.1 PXIe.
