South American Volleyball Confederation, also known as CSV and Confederacion Sudamericana de Voleibol, is a State Owned entity headquartered in Brazil. Founded in 1946, the confederation governs volleyball activity throughout South America. It exercises its hierarchy through the governing bodies of Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Ecuador, Guyana, French Guiana, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, and Venezuela, all of which are affiliated with the South American Volleyball Confederation. Furthermore, it is affiliated with the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB), which serves as the global governing body for volleyball.
