Spacepath Communications, a privately owned UK-based company founded in 2014, manufactures satellite communication equipment. As of 2023, the company employs approximately 10 people and generates less than $10 million in annual revenue. Its primary business focus is within the telecommunications sector.
ETL Systems acquired SpacePath Communications. Following this acquisition, ETL Systems secured a contract with SES on 2024-00-00 to supply high-power amplifiers (HPAs) for SES's ground stations. A second contract with SES was also awarded to ETL Systems on 2024-00-00 for the supply of additional HPAs for their ground stations. SpacePath Communications developed the STS2500C GaN Block Up Converters (BUCs)/Solid-State Power Amplifiers (SSPAs), which convert input frequencies from 950 to 1525 MHz to output frequencies from 5.85-6.425/6.425-6.725/6.725-7.025 GHz. SpacePath Communications, now a division of ETL Systems, also introduced a high-power standalone C-band BUC/SSPA using Gallium Nitride (GaN) technology. This SSPA is designed to replace older indoor TWTAs.
