Sport-Club Freiburg e.V. is a privately owned German sports club founded in 1904. Employing approximately 160 people as of 2023, the club's primary activity is managing sports teams, most notably its football team. While achieving its first Bundesliga appearance in 1993/94, the club has consistently competed at a high level despite often having lower financial resources than its competitors. Notable achievements include multiple 2. Bundesliga titles and a third-place Bundesliga finish.
