On April 27, 2026, Aidan O’Brien’s Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf winner Gstaad was confirmed as one of four Ballydoyle contenders for the 2000 Guineas, following its re-entry into the Classic after an administrative error had mistakenly removed it and stablemate Albert Einstein. Gstaad was supplemented back into the race for £30,000 at Monday's confirmation stage, with dual Group One winner Puerto Rico Causeway and Flushing Meadows also among O'Brien's entries.
