Summit Communications, a privately owned company based in Bangladesh, was founded in 2010 and employs approximately 710 individuals. The company functions as an end-to-end infrastructure support provider, operating a Nationwide Telecommunication Transmission Network and holding Gateway licenses.
On July 14, 2026, the Bangladesh Telecommunication Regulatory Commission (BTRC) upheld a Tk 3 crore administrative fine against Summit Communications Ltd, the country’s largest telecom infrastructure operator, after concluding that the company engaged in discriminatory bandwidth pricing. The BTRC decided to issue a formal notice instructing Summit to deposit the penalty within 10 working days. Previously, on November 25, 2025, EDOTCO Bangladesh entered into a Space and Power Lease Agreement with Summit Communications, marking a renewed phase of collaboration between the two organizations to strengthen Bangladesh’s telecommunications backbone.
