On August 18, 2026, SWISSto12 announced the close of its $70 million (€61 million) Series C funding round, which aims to meet growing multi-orbit demand. This financing follows an $84.8 million (€73 million) award from European Space Agency (ESA) Member States to the HummingSat ARTES partnership project, through which ESA supports SWISSto12 in the development and in-orbit validation of HummingSat. Earlier, on August 3, 2026, the company's $70 million space raise was highlighted as one of Western Switzerland's top stories for July 2026.
