Tacoma Community College held a board meeting on March 12, where five faculty members received tenure and contracts were renewed for first and second-year tenure-track faculty. David Anderson, with a B.S. and M.S. in Computer Science from East Carolina University, joined the Computer Science department. Nicole Gugliotti also joined the Art department. The Office of Student Engagement announced openings for five student government leadership positions within the Associated Students of Tacoma Community College. A virtual information session about the Running Start program for high school families occurred on March 11. An art exhibition, “Collaborative Identity,” featuring artists Hannah Kyungsook Ra and Emily J. Won, will be displayed at TCC Gig Harbor during the spring quarter of 2025; a meet-and-greet with the artists is scheduled for April 10.
