Tbaytel plans communications equipment upgrades at its Deception Bay and Moth cell towers, aiming to provide a faster, more reliable network and improved long-term connectivity for Kenora customers and residents. Previously, the company concluded its 10th annual "12 Days of Christmas" campaign on December 18, 2025. This initiative, which ran from December 1st to 12th, has supported organizations across northern Ontario since its inception in 2015. Earlier, on November 5, 2025, Tbaytel secured the exclusive primary naming rights for the City of Thunder Bay's new Indoor Turf Facility after submitting a proposal. This follows Tbaytel's scheduled 5G network upgrades in the Hawk Lake area on October 20, 2025, which sought to enhance service speed and reliability.
